Books on the
Icelandic Heritage...

"Blindur er bóklaus maður..."

(Blind is the man without books.)

Books are an important link with our past - and sometimes they are our only gateway to information that is now long forgotten.    Through books we can rediscover our history and experience the excitement of reconnecting with our heritage...

Some of the most unique and valuable books are local histories that record details about our ancestors and the communities in which they lived.   Often these books are printed in very limited quantities and they quickly become both hard to get and expensive.   Most are never reprinted.   Such books become valuable heirlooms, passed down in the family for generations.

This link showcases just a few examples.   New titles may be added from time to time...
